Cawley Center for Translational Cancer Research (CTCR)

With forward-thinking collaboration, the Cawley Center for Translational Cancer Research at ChristianaCare’s Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute links physicians and scientific researchers under the same roof. Working side by side, together they identify needs of individual patients at the bedside, explore solutions in the lab and translate those results directly into treatment plans as unique as the individuals who will benefit from them.

Delaware Cardiovascular Research Center (DCRC)

The Center for Cardiovascular Health – UD brings together over 50 researchers, physicians, and educators to focus on ways to prevent and treat cardiac, vascular, and blood diseases. These investigators encompass more than 20 specialties: from epidemiology and pharmacology to preventive cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. They tackle cardiovascular problems through basic research, clinical investigation, diagnosis, treatment, and public education. The Center provides a focal point for interdisciplinary research and training as well as state of the art instrumentation and facilities.

Delaware Clinical and Translational Research (DE-CTR) Network

The Delaware Clinical and Translational Research (DE-CTR) Network is a regional partnership comprised of four partner institutions in two states – Delaware and South Carolina: The University of Delaware, Christiana Care Health System, Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children, and the Medical University of South Carolina with the goal of developing the infrastructure to facilitate the growth of Clinical and Translational Research in its partner states.

Delaware INBRE

The purpose of the Delaware IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) is to create an inter-institutional biomedical research capability, by developing a statewide pipeline of capable and competitive biomedical research personnel who can successfully compete for biomedical research grants, funded by NIH and other agencies.
