Education

Overview

Inter-professional and interdisciplinary training reduce misunderstanding and improve cooperation among diverse groups of people with the common goal of the well-being of the patient through cultural competency and greater equity in health care service delivery.

These programs train future health care leaders in innovative and interprofessional ways that will provide them with a foundation to be committed leaders, critical and analytical thinkers, and active and engaged citizens in the global community.

Joint faculty appointments between the academic and clinical institutions in the alliance enable outstanding faculty to have multiple academic homes and facilitate development of a strong research and education engine.
