Shark Tank-like Initiative
In 2019, the DHSA began funding a Shark Tank-like competition in Delaware. Researchers studying population health were encouraged to collaborate between DHSA member institutions and create a research proposal.
Seven “Sharks” from the DHSA institutions heard these proposals and selected a winner. The winning team was given $50,000 in funds to implement their proposal.
